First a pitstop in Amsterdam (redlight district):

Now off to Berlin, with a little sight seeing ahead of the game (a remaining piece of the Berlin Wall):

On our way to the game, after I relented and bought a Brazil shirt...

Jon and Ruy in front of the Olympic Stadium, famous for the 1936 Olympics when American Jesse Owens won gold in front of Hitler...

In our seats, waiting for the game to start...

Brazil on the attack against Croatia:

Croatian fans getting a bit restless, being down 1-0 with ten minutes left. The energy in the stadium of 73,000 people was amazing.

The game ended 1-0 for Brazil... not the most exciting scoreline, but still an awesome experience.
The next night Celisa and I watch Germany squeeze by Poland with a goal in the 90th minute. Needless to say the city went nuts afterwards...

I'm back in London, getting ready for work starting Monday. |
